This month’s product updates are all about connections: linking Kolleno to the tools you already use, and joining up the everyday work your team does inside it. You’ll find a major Salesforce upgrade, richer CreditSafe data, faster task handoffs, clearer reconciliation, and stronger security. First, a quick heads-up for Microsoft 365 users that’s worth acting on now.
⚠️ Reconnect before 1 October 2026: Microsoft is switching off Exchange Web Services on 1 October 2026. Mailboxes connected to Kolleno before 3 August 2026 need a one-time reconnect to keep sending and receiving email.
Shared mailbox support: Connect individual inboxes with a personal sign-in, or use RBAC application access for shared, IT-managed mailboxes like ar@company.com with no personal login needed.
🔐 Manage Access at Scale
Bulk permissions for User Groups: Set permissions for a whole group at once instead of user by user, so onboarding a new hire or adjusting a team’s access takes minutes and stays consistent across everyone.
⚡ Quicker Handoffs and Cleaner Task Ownership
Inline task reassignment: Reassign a task to a new owner straight from the task view, with no separate panel, perfect for quick handoffs.
Download received emails as attachments: Save any email received in the Task Manager as a standalone file, making it easy to share context with a colleague or attach proof to a dispute.
Assign tasks to the Account Owner: Route automated tasks to whoever owns the customer rather than a fixed name, so the right person always picks up the work even as accounts change hands.
📌 Heads-up: Collector Tasks retiring 17 August. After this date, Collector Tasks will no longer be available. Move to the new Task Manager to keep your workflows running and unlock the features above. Customer Success can help, and if you need more time, just let us know.
👓 Sharper Visibility and Faster Everyday Work
Workflow Executions: See a complete log of every workflow run. When someone asks why a customer was chased, you can answer in seconds instead of guessing.
New overdue balance filters: Filter customers and invoices by balances overdue 30, 45, or 60+ days. Surface exactly the accounts you’re looking for without scrolling through everything else.
Bank sorting in reconciliation: Sort banks in the reconciliation view for faster navigation across multi-account setups.
Preview remittance files in the reconciliation match panel: View PDFs and spreadsheets side by side with the match, with source-line highlighting, so you can confirm a payment without flipping between tabs or downloading files.
💳 More Control Over the Customer Portal and Payments
Customize the “Sent By” name: Personalize the sender name on the Customer Portal with smart fields, giving communications a branded feel that customers are more likely to trust and act on.
Credit card saved notification: A timeline note appears when a customer saves a card for automatic payments, giving your team clear confirmation that future collections are secured. To turn this on for your account, reach out to Customer Success.
🔗 Deeper Connections With Salesforce and CreditSafe
Major Salesforce integration upgrade: You now have full control over how records and fields map between Salesforce and Kolleno. Dedicated tabs for customers, invoices, and contacts let you configure each data flow, choose how fields are mapped and displayed, and decide exactly what gets pushed back to Salesforce, keeping both systems aligned on your terms. To turn this on for your account, reach out to Customer Success.
CreditSafe trend data and event history: See a customer’s credit score plotted as a trend chart inside Kolleno, pulled directly from CreditSafe, alongside the relevant event history. You get a clear view of how their credit has evolved over time, helping you spot risk early and act before it becomes a bad debt.o turn this on for your account, reach out to Customer Success.
🛡️ Broader Integration Control, Tighter Security
More power for the Kolleno MCP: The MCP now creates, updates, and deletes records, not just reads, so your integrations can act on Kolleno directly and cut out manual copying between systems.
Send security events to your SIEM: Feed Kolleno’s security events straight into your existing monitoring stack, giving your security team full oversight of Kolleno alongside the rest of your tools.
Keep file transfers running with an SFTP backup: If your primary SFTP connection drops, Kolleno can route file transfers through your accounting system instead, keeping your data flowing without interruption.
