As we head into the final stretch of summer, the team at Kolleno has been focused on delivering meaningful improvements to the platform—from speeding up performance to expanding how you manage tasks, workflows, and customer commitments.
Let’s dive into the summary of all new updates:
⚡ Platform Performance Upgrades
We’ve made core improvements to our system infrastructure to enhance overall performance and user experience:
- Faster load times and smoother navigation across the platform
- Reduced lag when accessing records or switching between sections
- Increased stability during periods of high activity
These updates are part of ongoing efforts as we’ll continue refining performance to keep things fast and reliable with new caching systems being rolled out
✅ Task Manager Enhancements
Tasking is now faster, clearer, and more collaborative—giving you more visibility and control at every step.
- Unassigned Tasks View You can now filter for tasks that are unassigned, making it easier to manage team workloads and ensure nothing is missed.
- Create Tasks from Invoices Assign a task while reviewing invoices—whether it’s a single invoice or a bulk selection—without needing to leave the view.
- Expanded Task Statuses You can now mark tasks as In Progress or Completed, allowing for clearer progress tracking while keeping historical data intact.
- Visibility into Future Tasks When creating a task manually, you’ll see a preview of future steps already scheduled by your workflows.
- Task ID Search & Share Every task now has a unique ID, visible and copyable from the collector view or customer timeline. Use it to align internally on specific actions or escalate with precision.
- Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Tasks now open directly in context, not just the customer view.
- Task exports now include full content.
- Tasks are editable directly from the tasks collector view.
💳 Payment Plans
You can now offer customers more flexibility by enrolling them into structured payment plans—all while keeping tracking and automation fully integrated.
- How to set up a payment plan Create a plan from one or multiple invoices, directly from the invoice view or the customer hub.
- View, edit, or cancel existing plans Update installment schedules, cancel plans, or review payment statuses in just a few clicks.
- Automate plan-related follow-ups Build workflows to remind customers, notify team members, or take action when a plan is completed or overdue.
⚙️ Workflow Upgrades
We’ve made workflows more flexible and precise—so you can automate actions with better targeting and less duplication.
- Duplicate an Existing Workflow Save time when building similar workflows by duplicating and adapting an existing one for different invoice types or stages.
- Send Emails to Account Owners Use dynamic fields to automatically send communications to the assigned account owner on each customer.
- Trigger Actions Before or After Due Date You can now use negative or positive day filters to send reminders ahead of time—or follow up after an invoice is overdue.
🤝 Promise to Pay: Status & Context
Promise to Pay (PTP) agreements now have greater visibility across the platform—so your team can prioritise follow-ups with confidence.
- View PTP statuses on the customer timeline You’ll now see if a commitment is Active, Paid, Missed, or Cancelled directly within the timeline view.
- Flag tasks linked to active PTPs If a task involves an invoice with a live promise to pay, it will now be clearly marked—ensuring you’re aware before taking further action.
- Create PTPs from multiple views Set up a commitment directly from an invoice, the customer timeline, or within the task itself.
📧 Email Experience Improvements
We’re making it easier to organise, troubleshoot, and track your email communications.
- Tag individual email messages You can now add tags to emails to better categorise and filter customer interactions.
- Hover to see which contact bounced When sending to multiple recipients, hovering over a “Bounced” label will reveal which specific email failed to deliver
